The weather in New York is just like my life… unexpected!
The first two months of 2018 have been extremely exciting for me. Lots of new projects, performances and great surprises.
I’m thrilled to share my short film “Wildflower” behind the scenes video (click on the pic). This promo video is edited by Gergely Laszlo-Zwickl of Monoplane Movie Trailer Production from Hungary, who I found after posting an ad to Mandy.com. It’s great to be able to locate talent, having not ever met the person, and absolutely love their work!
Another exciting project: I’m co-organizing and also performing in “Kalevala the Musical” concert at the Scandinavia House this coming Monday. It’s a beautiful story based on the Finnish epic, Kalevala, and has been set to an ethereal yet powerful pop, folk and world music score written by the very talented Johanna Telander. If Once, Lord of the Rings and Waitress were juxtaposed in to one musical, Kalevala would be the product. I’m thrilled to let you know that we’ve been featured on Broadwayworld.com several times. Last but not least, I ran a successful Crowdfunding Campaign for Wildflower. Thank you everyone for your kindness and support. I have an outstanding lineup of people who are working on post production and I couldn’t have done this without your support!
I would also love to hear how you’re doing if you have the time to write!
